What Can I Do With It?

My daughter got some of this Floam stuff for her birthday because we heard it was pretty cool.
Now, what the heck do we DO with it?!

With two kids around (and both love art), I’ve managed to accumulate a lion’s share of crayons. Many are broken and peeled, and some are quite small.

As usual I assume there is something I can do with this bucket ‘o crayons, but I have no idea what.

Calling all creative moms — What can I DO with all these broken crayons?

Does anyone still use 35mm film? Does it still come in those little black film canisters?

I used to store change in them as a kid.
I’ve also used them as a cat toy (put a few dried beans in them so they make noise and roll it in front of your Friskie kitty).

What are some uses for Film Canisters?

Yesterday, I caught my husband throwing away a basketball. My initial reaction was “STOP! We can do something with that!” Poor man.

I did let him throw it away, but, I still feel like that basketball could have been put to use — somehow.

Is there a way to reuse, repurpose or recyle an old basketball?

My kids came home from a birthday party with a little rubber ball and some jacks. I have no idea how to play.

So, first, how do you play jacks, and second — are there any other cool things you can make or do with them?
