What Can I Do with old POTS AND PANS?
Somehow I’ve managed to accumulate a slew of pots and pans, including a bunch of baking dishes. I’ve given some away, but still have more than I use on a daily basis.
So, to save the sanity in my kitchen, I hope you can help me answer the question “What can I DO with all these old pots and pans and baking dishes”.

My daughter likes to “cook” along side me, so I always keep a few extra pots and pans around.
We also played “beat the pot” when I was growing up in Germany. You need an old pot, a wooden (or plastic) spoon and a blind fold. This is a great game for a child’s birthday party.
To play blindfold one of the kids and hand her the spoon. Set the pot out (upside down) with a small surprise hidden under it. The child then gets on her knees and uses the stick (beating it up and down, waving it in front of her – gently of course) to find the pot. The other kids help direct her by telling her if she’s getting closer (warmer) or further away (colder) from the pot.
Of course the kid gets the treat when she finds the pot.

I let my girls use them in the Dora play kitchen if they aren’t too heavy. I also let them use my extra tupperware bowls for play too.

There are so many people who are in the unfortunate position of not having pots and pans. I would call a church or a good will foundation. I’m sure you will make someone very happy by donating them.
