What Can I Do with a Crock pot?
I know this is going to sound like a really dumb one for some of you out there, but I had a crock pot in college and never used it. I don’t know if I felt weird about leaving the “oven” on while I left or whether it was a pain to clean or what but I just didn’t get into it.
Fast forward 10 years since I’ve been in college and now I have 2 kids and an online home business that keeps me hopping. So, I’m getting interested in the whole crock pot thing again. Can you help?
I found a few crock pots that look good — >
Crock Pots at Amazon
And, some free crockpot recipes.
But, honestly, I still feel quite lost.
What should I look for in a good crockpot? AND, do you have a favorite crock pot recipe to share?

I use my crockpot all the time to make soups. You can make virtually any kind of soup in a crockpot that you can make in other pots. For example, one of my favorities is a taco chicken soup. You simply dump a can of tomato sauce, a can of salsa, a can of black beans, some chicken breasts and a can of green chilis into your crockpot. you cook on low for 8 hours and then you serve it with cheese and corn ships. Hmmm, yummy!

Crock Pots rock! You can cook roasts, soups, potatoes, stews, casseroles – pretty much anything.
It’s a great time-saver for busy moms – work at home or otherwise.
I have just a simple Rival Crockpot – we received it for a wedding gift over 10 years ago – it works great
It’s my favorite cooking utensil!
If you’re still looking for recipes, let me know!

Don’t know whether this’ll give you any ideas, but… I’m a massage therapist, and I use crockpots for heating hot stones for those yummy hot stone massages. I also use ‘em to heat moist towels.
