What Can I Do with an Old Pair of Jeans?
So, I’ve got an old pair of jeans laying around. I hear crafty people do creative and clever things with their old jeans, but I can’t for the life of me think of what — other than saving them for working in the yard or camping.
Any tips?
What can I do with denim jeans?

I have use a stack of old jeans to make quilt squares for some quilts for my boys.
Also, I have sewed cute quilts that use the pockets on toddler quilts. They like to store their little cars and precise trinkets in the pockets

Cut them off under the butt, sew up at the bottom, add cute doodads and make a purse. I’ve seen these around and they’re adorable! Washable and durable too.

Use the pockets to make a cute purse or a mini bag. Cut off the pockets, sew them together add a strap and you’ve got a darling little bag.
Or here’s another idea – cut off the legs of the jeans – fill with poly-fill and you’ve got a denim pillow roll. Perfect for a teenager’s room.

If you remove the pockets from the jeans, you can stitch them on cards or scrapbook pages for a cute addition!
You can also use strips of the jeans for borders or tie them as ribbons.

Hi Everyone!
I have 2 or 3 bags full of my kid’s favorite clothes since they were little bitty–and I plan to make a quilt(decorative kind) as a memory keepsake–and get them out of plastic bags!
Each item has sentimental value for us–they were so cute! What a blessing!
Take Care!

Bleach them and then make the items noted above for a fun summer look! I love to use scraps for scrapbook pages too! also, they are great to sew onto pack packs that have a denim exterior for extra pockets and the fabric is durable to use as a pencil bag!

These make wonderful and fun picnic placemats. Cut off the butt part, add rick-rack or just zigzag around the edges (or even let them fray…they’re just as cute). Use bandanas for napkins. Put the bandana and the silverware in a pocket, and voila….cute, washable and cheap placemats. The kids love them! Actually, so do the adults.
